World Chili Championship Cookoff comes to an end

The World Championship Chili Cookoff came to an end Sunday. The event took place over the weekend on Magic Island in Charleston.

Over the weekend, people from states as far away as California, flocked to Charleston to participate in the cookoff. People competing for the top prize came up with their best creations.

Some shared parts of their secret recipes with 13 News.

One person referred to their chili as "Roadkill Chili." Another person named their chili "Spark-N-Farts Chili." And one man came up with pumpkin-flavored chili.

The winner of the competition recieved $25,000 and bragging rights.
