A Wheelersburg man is under arrest after police found him hiding inside a mattress.
Scioto county Sheriff Marti Donini says his office has been following several burglaries in the area.
Detectives identified a possible suspect in Sciotoville and obtained a warrant to search a residence where they found 34-year-old Matthew Dawson hiding inside a mattress.
Detectives say Dawson had cut a hole in the mattress and crawled inside to avoid being caught.
Dawson is charged with felony burglary, breaking and entering, and grand theft auto.
Detectives also recovered a stolen Toyota Tacoma truck in Kentucky.
