Marshall University held a meet the candidates forum on Thursday evening. The purpose, to allow students and community members to meet and question candidates running for various offices.
Several candidates spoke about their plans if elected or re-elected. They discussed topics ranging from education and economy to industry in the area.
Candidates are running for the offices of governor, attorney general, house of delegates in the 16th and 17th districts, county commissioner, assessor, mayor of Huntington, Cabell County magistrate, and Huntington City Council.
