The West Virginia Turnpike Authority has confirmed that one all lanes have been reopened to traffic.

UPDATE:
The police are clearing the road and it should open soon.
A four vehicle accident in Jefferson near the Value City Furniture store closed one of the westbound lanes causing traffic to back up to South Charleston.
Two people were transported from the scene but the extent of their injuries is unknown.
The accident happened around 4:02 p.m.
A Kanawha County Sheriff's deputy was involved in the accident.
The police are recreating the scene and expect the lane to be closed for awhile.
