Ohio University (7-0) was ranked Sunday in the latest Associated Press College Football poll as No. 25 in the nation.
The Bobcats shifted into the Top 25 after defeating the Akron Zips 34-28 at home, Saturday.
The Bobcats also received a season-high 54 votes in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
Ohio is 3-0 in MAC Conference play.
OU has defeated schools like Penn State and Marshall, so far, this season.
Ohio has a "bye-week" this week. However, they will return to the grid-iron on Oct. 27 at Miami (OH). Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.
This is Ohio University's first national ranking since 1968.
