Power outages reported after Hurricane Sandy hits

Power outages have been reported across the state with many counties in southern W.Va. in the thousands.  As people begin their day, more power outages have been reported. 

Fayette County, W.Va. has over 10,000 reported power outages. Cabell County is reporting almost 6,000 outages and Kanawha County is reporting more than 20,000.

Boone, McDowell, Raleigh and Counties are all reporting over 3,000 outages each.  Mercer, Nicholas and Wyoming Counties are reporting more than 2,000 outages each.

Eastern Ky. and southern Oh. are not reporting many outages with most counties in the area reporting none and no counties reporting more than 500.
