A man is on the run and considered armed and dangerous according to authorities with the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office.
A man is on the run and considered armed and dangerous according to authorities with the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office.
A Michigan has pleaded guilty in federal court to traveling in interstate commerce with intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a minor, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin.
Ashlee Liebert, 33, admitted to developing a relationship with a 12-year-old minor who lived in Putnam County.
Liebert admitted to talking to the minor by email and cell phone. Their conversations were sexual in nature, he admitted.
Liebert also admitted to exchanging sexually explicit pictures with the victim.
He went so far as to pick up the minor in Putnam County and engaged in illicit sexual conduct with her, he admitted.
After a search warrant at his Michigan home, investigators found more than 600 child pornography images on his computer.
Liebert faces up to 30 years in prison. He will be sentenced on February 11.
