No one should be upset because no one picked the correct numbers to win the large Powerball jackpot last night. It didn't stop people from walking up to the lottery outlets to buy a chance at a multi-million
Cabell county 911 dispatchers are hard at work fielding calls around the Huntington area.
Director Mike Davis says they have held several meetings preparing for the worse and have learned a lot since last summer's storms.
Dispatchers monitored this storm very closely and were prepared to call in extra help if needed.
They say the area is lucky not to have had the extreme weather the rest of the state has endured.
The agency also has a mobile command center that can be deployed in an emergency to coordinate communication with other agencies.
