The West Virginia Power won't begin their 2013 season for another five and half months, but that's more than enough time for to find a new manager.
On Wednesday, Power Manager Rick Sofield received one sweet treat on Halloween.
He was named the new first base coach of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Sofield managed the Power for one season and led West Virginia to a 61-79 record, but his team improved in the 2nd half of the season going 38-32 putting the Power in playoff contention.
The Power probably won't name a replacement until spring training.
