A $500 fine and up to a year in jail, that's what the 14-year-old who was arrested after refusing to change his NRA shirt could face, following his arraignment today.
A $500 fine and up to a year in jail, that's the penalty that 14-year-old Jared Marcum, who was arrested after refusing to change his NRA shirt, could face, now that a judge has allowed the prosecution to move forward with it's obstructing an officer charge against him.
According to a press release, Cabell County Schools' Board of Education will conduct its Regular Board Meeting, Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012 beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Central Office Board Meeting Room, 2850 Fifth Avenue in Huntington.
At this meeting, the Board will discuss and vote on personnel, financial and policy issues. The complete agenda is available on the Cabell County Schools web site at www.cabellcountyschools.com at the top of the page in the "About Us" section.
The meeting is open to the public.
Prior to the regular meeting, Board members will hear presentations from the Local School Improvement Councils of several schools. That session begins at 4:00 p.m. and is also open to the public.
Also on Nov. 13, the Board will meet at 2:00 p.m. to conduct Student Discipline Hearings. These hearings are conducted in Executive Session and are not open to the public.
