A $500 fine and up to a year in jail, that's the penalty that 14-year-old Jared Marcum, who was arrested after refusing to change his NRA shirt, could face, now that a judge has allowed the prosecution to move forward with it's obstructing an officer charge against him.
A person was hit by a train around 12:15 p.m. on Nov. 11 near Hurricane High School.
The police have released the name of the man hit by the train.
Michael Eads, 20, was walking on the tracks and did not appear to see or hear the train.
Eads was in critical condition and was transported to the Teays Valley Hospital by the Putnam County ambulance service.
The incident occurred near where a Putnam County teenager was struck and killed earlier this year.
