Hundreds of runners from all over the country got to see most of Huntington by foot this morning, all participating in the 9th annual Marshall University Marathon.
The race started on Third Avenue between the Cam Henderson Center and Joan C. Edwards Stadium.
Runners ran through downtown Huntington, Ritter Park and the Marshall Campus finishing on the football field at Joan C. Edwards Stadium.
Racers say Huntington is great place to host a marathon and the weather was just perfect.
Runners could compete in the full 26.2 mile marathon, or the half marathon or the relay marathon.
