Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Chestnut Street and MacCorkle Avenue West in South Charleston on Monday evening.
A car reportedly hit a pedestrian just after 9:30 p.m.
A man who was crossing the road near the intersection, was struck by a car according to emergency crews. The man struck the windshield and front of the vehicle.
He was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital. Officials have not released any further information about the victim, the extent of his injuries or whether the driver will be charged in the accident.
