    UPDATE: The July 27 fire at the Morris Building in downtown Huntington, WV is now under investigation. Investigators say it started in the elevator, which collapsed onto the 4th floor.

    Kentucky Treasurer Todd Hollenbach says some people may be receiving mail or other contacts regarding unclaimed property that aren't coming from his office.

According to the Gallipolis Fire Dept., a huge fire started in an apartment complex near Rio Grande University.

The fire happened just after 7:00 p.m. at Valley View Apartments on Route 325.

Firefighters say eight units caught fire after the fire broke out in the attic.  Four families lived in the building and had to evacuated.

The complex was going to be renovated and other people had already been relocated before construction begins.

Four fire depts. were called to the scene including: Gallipolis, Centerville, Springfield and Madison-Jefferson.

No injuries were reported. 

The fire marshall is investigating the cause of the fire.
