    Grant County’s Spring Mountain Festival has a new venue. Typically hosted at Petersburg City Park, the 22nd annual Spring Mountain Festival will be at the Tri-County Fairgrounds. The festival takes place April 25-27 and will again feature bands, artisans, crafters, food and various other vendors.

The Potomac State College/Community Jazz Ensemble will present a jazz concert at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 15 in the Church-McKee Arts Center on the campus of Potomac State College of West Virginia University.

The band, directed by Fred Kesner, will perform a variety of jazz styles and will feature several of the band's soloists. The program will include arrangements by Sammy Nestico, Frank Mantooth, LennieNiehaus, and Gordon Goodwin. To honor veterans, the band will present "Amber Waves," an arrangement of "America, the Beautiful." Highlights will include the ballad, "Bein' Green" performed by Romney Middle School band director Will Nose on trombone.

The concert is free.
