The Performing Arts Series at Shepherd University will sponsor a performance of Motet at 8 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Frank Center.

The performance is a new collaboration between Finland's pioneers of New Circus, CircoAereo, and Britain's Gandini Juggling. In Motet, performers manipulate objects that float and collapse as many parts become one. Motet is currently on its first U.S. tour.

CircoAereo is a recipient of the Finnish Award given by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture and is one of the most active Finnish cultural exports. The company has performed in the United States, Middle East and throughout Europe.

Members of Gandini Juggling are pioneers of movement juggling. Based in England, the company has performed more than 4,000 shows in 40 countries, which have included guest appearances with Cirque du Soleil.

Tickets are available for purchase at Shepherd's Bookstore, at www.shepherdbook.com or 304-876-5219. General admission is $15, $10 for senior citizens and Shepherd staff, $5 for children under 18.
