Waiting in long lines has always been a part of going to the bank. But now, one business is cutting out that step of the process.
Element Federal Credit Union just unveiled its latest way of conducting business. They replaced the teller windows with iPads, making for a more digital environment.
Element just finished its Kanawha City office renovation and invited people to see what changes it has in store for its customers Thursday evening.
"We are using technology to improve our relationship by streamlining the forms and applications into technology we are able to more socially interacted with people and help them," said Linda Bodie, the CEO of Element Federal Credit Union.
She added they hope to add more iPads to the Kanawha City location. By taking out the teller windows, owners hope their employees can get more face-to-face interaction with customers.
Element also showed off its new renovations including a lounge and café, where customers can use Wi-Fi and check their statements.
