On Nov. 15, the W.Va. State Police arrested three men in connection with a break-in at a state police detachment.
John M. Richards, 48, from Vienna, David C. WIne, 33, from Parkersburg and William W. Estep, 25, also from Vienna, were arrested in connection with the break-in.
The arrests were the result of an extensive investigation conducted by the W.Va. State Police with the assistance of the Parkersburg Drug Task Force, the Ritchie County Sheriff's Dept. and the Harrisville Police Dept.
The break-in occurred on Oct. 30 in the late evening at the Harrisville Detachment of the State Police in Ritchie County. The evidence room was breached during the break-in.
An inventory of the room revealed that some items had been stolen from the evidence room.
The investigation is still on-going and additional charges may be forthcoming.
