A man is on the run and considered armed and dangerous according to authorities with the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office.
A man is on the run and considered armed and dangerous according to authorities with the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office.
The Charleston Police Department released a video on Friday, Nov. 16 that shows just how close a homeowner came to dangerous situation.
The surveillance video shows two men walking up to the front door of a home on Cliffview Avenue in Charleston. The video also shows the men trying to get into the home through the door, but they're not successful.
Police said the same two men also went to a home on Temple Street. In that incident, they were able to get inside the home by knocking out a glass door and unlocking the front door.
The homeowners woke up and found the two men standing in their kitchen. The men left without anyone being hurt. Nothing was stolen according to police, but officers are asking for the public's help.
