Cedar Lakes Conference Center near Ripley offers more than three-quarters of a million lights, computer-animated displays, musical events and holiday themed dinner theaters. The lighting display will be open from 6-9 p.m. nightly through Jan. 1.

There will be horse-drawn wagon rides every Friday and Saturday evening for a fee as weather permits. Wagon rides will also occur Dec. 19-20.

Holiday craft workshops for stained glass, quilting, woodcarving, baskets, woven ornaments and playing the dulcimer are scheduled Nov. 26-30.

A free concert of traditional mountain music for the season will be performed by Shelley Stevens at 7 p.m. Nov. 27. The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring Christmas in Candyland from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Dec. 4. The event includes photos with Santa, music, crafts and treats. Admission is an unwrapped toy.

A concert by the Jackson County Children's Choir is set at 6 p.m. Dec. 11. The Jackson County Players will present the annual Christmas dinner theater at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 14-15. The Jackson County Senior Citizens Choir will be in concert at 6 p.m. Dec. 18.

Admission for the drive-through is free, but donations are accepted.
