Rescue efforts have pulled a second person from the Elk River near Clendenin. A 19-year-old man was found around 3:00 p.m. by rescuers and appears to be in good condition.

With all the action this community has seen recently, Joe Whorley says people here are beginning to realize that the times of leaving front doors unlocked are over.
There have been three home invasions in Huntington in less than a week. The most recent one happened late Sunday night into Monday morning on the city's east end.
Huntington detectives said it appears this latest home invasion follows a similar style to the others that have happened on the same side of town. "The way they come in. They break a door down. They come in very quickly in and out, quick. They are only there just a few minutes. They are coming in with handguns making the people inside lay down on the floor and then they do a quick robbery and get out," said Det. Rob Stinnett with the Huntington Police Department.
In the latest home invasion on 24th Street on Nov. 19, the suspects also took the victims' cell phones.
Police have not confirmed if the victims are random or planned. In the meantime, they advise residents to exercise basic caution, lock their doors and make sure the outside of their homes are well lit.
