A South Charleston Diner is opening its doors this Thanksgiving for those who otherwise may not have a place to go.
With the help of friends and community volunteers, Betty Lou's Diner will feed anyone who needs dinner on Thanksgiving Day.
Volunteers plan to make a traditional meal, complete with all the trimmings. They'll use donations from the community to buy and cook the meal.
"We have just a wonderful bunch of volunteers that are here to make you feel welcome and serve up some good food and be company with you," said Kevin Yeager, co-owner of Betty Lou's Diner.
Each year, Betty Lou's serves a little more than a hundred meals on Thanksgiving Day. Leftovers are taken to a nearby homeless shelter.
Anyone who would like to donate their time, food or money may stop by the diner anytime it's open.
