Just a few days after being named starting quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers, former Marshall quarterback Byron Leftwich will not start this week vs the Cleveland Browns.
Leftwich fractured two ribs in Sunday night's 13-10 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
Charlie Batch, 37, will guide the Steelers offense instead.
Leftwich threw for 201 yards with one interception and rushed for a touchdown in the loss to Baltimore.
Meanwhile, Ben Roethlisberger is still listed as doubtful for the Cleveland game.
