A woman's body is now being examined by a coroner after being found in a creek in Scioto County.

The annual Ashland Christmas Parade kicked off Tuesday night.

Thousands lined the streets of downtown Ashland joined with family and friends to see the floats and marching bands.

Some came from as far as Texas to be with their families for the holidays.

Smiles filled the faces of young and old as they relaxed and enjoyed the parade in tonight's great weather.

Some folks say going to the parade has become a family tradition.

A special visit by Santa and Mrs. Clause concluded the parade to start the holiday season.
