A morning accident leaves one person dead and another in a local hospital.
Kentucky State Police say it happened at 9:25 a.m. on KY 32 near the 11 mile marker in Rowan county.
Police say Dustin Rayburn, 21, of Morehead was traveling east when his pickup truck crossed the center line and hit a Jeep driven by Wendy Williams, 33, also of Morehead, causing it to flip onto the westbound shoulder.
Williams was flown to U. K. Medical Center in Lexington where she later died from her injuries.
Rayburn was flown to St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington and is listed in stable condition.
The accident remains under investigation by Master Trooper Joe Veeneman.
