CHARLESTON, West Virginia -
A jobs report released this week shows West Virginia added 200 more jobs in October, a signal the state's economy continues to stabilize.
From December 2007 to October 2012, the mining/logging industry added 400 jobs in the state, while the manufacturing sector is down 18.86% in the same time frame.
In a release from the West Virginia Center on Budget & Policy, the majority of employment sectors are beginning to level off. While in 2011, West Virginia outpaced the nation job growth, in 2012, the state has "nose dived in West Virginia," according to the release.
