A $500 fine and up to a year in jail, that's the penalty that 14-year-old Jared Marcum, who was arrested after refusing to change his NRA shirt, could face, now that a judge has allowed the prosecution to move forward with it's obstructing an officer charge against him.
According to the Marmet Police Dept., Charles Watson, a pastor, and his wife, Nancy Watson, returned home and found an intruder in their residence.
The victims told police that they returned home and noticed their dog was acting strange. When the pastor went upstairs, he was confronted by an intruder.
The victims then claim that the intruder struck the pastor in the face multiple times with a baseball bat and then fled from the residence.
The pastor was transported to CAMC General and there is no information on the extent of his injuries.
Police are searching for the intruder. They have a suspect in the case.
