A Fayette County man was sentenced to eight months in federal prison for selling oxycodone, according to a news release by U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin.
Phillip Adkins, 44, previously pleaded guilty in June.
Adkins admitted to selling oxycodone pills to two difference confidential informants earlier this year.
Authorities said they also seized illegal prescription pills at his Hilltop residence in 2011.
Adkins was sentenced to eight months in prison followed by three years of supervised release.
