A Meigs County pharmacy technician has admitted to stealing hydrocodone from the Pomeroy, Ohio pharmacy where she worked.
According to the Meigs County Sheriff, Stacy A. Hawk, 33, of Middleport, Ohio, was arrested by Pomeroy police after prescription drugs were found inside her vehicle. She confessed to agents of the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy, which was brought in by investigators when the pharmacy Hawk worked at was experiencing significant losses of various strengths of hydrocodone tablets.
A search of Hawk's Grant Street home yielded the recovery of prescription drugs, weapons, and drug paraphernalia.
Hawk's boyfriend, Tony Robinson, 36, who was at the home during the search, was arrested for Trafficking in Drugs and Possession of Drugs.
Additional charges may come after the investigation.
