Organizations will be urged to take a look at the link between employee skills and organizational results during "Employee Learning Week" December 3-7.

The American Society for Training and Development in West Virginia sponsors the week and has research to demonstrate that organizations that invest in increasing the skills and knowledge among their work force see success.

"Increasingly, business leaders realize that the most important asset in our knowledge economy is talent, and a skilled work force is the key to realizing results," ASTD President and CEO Tony Bingham said in a news release. "We encourage all organizations to demonstrate their commitment to learning by recognizing Employee Learning Week."

ASTD will be reaching out through Facebook, Twitter, guest blogs and meetings during the week. Contact Samantha Knapp at 304-558-7022 or visit employeelearningweek.org for details.
