A Crown City, Ohio man has been arrested for providing transportation and shelter for Meigs County murder suspect James Gardner.

According to Gallia County Sheriff Joe Browning, deputies and BCI agents have arrested Lyndon M. Montgomery, 51, and charged him with obstructing official business.

Gallia Deputies and Ohio BCI&I agents have searching for James Gardner for questioning about his father's death.

The Gallia County Sheriff's Department is asking anyone with any information relating to James E. Gardner's location to contact the sheriff's tip line at (740)446-6555.

Sheriff Joe Browning also warns that anyone helping or assisting Gardner will be charged.
