A man is on the run and considered armed and dangerous according to authorities with the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office.
A man is on the run and considered armed and dangerous according to authorities with the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office.
Gallia County Sheriff's deputies are investigating an apparent accidental shooting that occurred around 5:30 yesterday evening.
Gallia EMS were called to the 1100 block of State Route 7 South, in Clay Township.
According to witnesses, the 19-year-old victim had been riding an ATV while deer hunting with a shotgun. The gun fell and discharged, hitting him in the chest and upper abdomen.
Witnesses say that he had been deer hunting.
The victim was airlifted to St. Mary's Hospital, in Huntington. At the last update, he was listed in critical condition.
