Area kids in need got a boost Saturday, just in-time for the holiday season.

Senator Joe Manchin donated lots of holiday gifts to the annual WOWK Toys for Tots drive at the West Virginia State Capitol.

The objective of the drive is to give local children a chance to get new toys for Christmas.

13News anchor Don Hammond was there as well to show his support for the cause.

The drive has been going on for a few weeks now.

You can drop off your unwrapped toys to the following locations until Dec. 7:

  • All Huntington Bank locations
  • Any All Med location
  • Ponderosa in Elkview located at 109 Crossings Mall, Elkview, WV
  • Brickstreet Insurance located at 400 Quarrier Street, Charleston, WV
