Three medical centers across the state are set to receive a combined $916,000 in federal money.

The Camden-On-Gauley Medical Center, Rainelle Medical Center and St. George Medical Clinic will receive the money through the Health Center Cluster grant, a competitive grant created by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The grant provides financial assistance to health centers that offer comprehensive primary and preventative care to underserved or rural areas. The funding comes from the United States Department of Health and Human Services' Office of Federal Assistance Management.

Camden-On-Gauley Medical Center will receive $374,844; Rainelle Medical Center will receive $263,187 and St. George Medical Clinic will receive $278,560.
