A $500 fine and up to a year in jail, that's the penalty that 14-year-old Jared Marcum, who was arrested after refusing to change his NRA shirt, could face, now that a judge has allowed the prosecution to move forward with it's obstructing an officer charge against him.
A plea deal has been reached in a Kanawha County murder case from earlier this year.
John Edward Hudson, 38, pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of voluntary manslaughter.
Hudson admitted to shooting Michelle Gillespie in the head, killer her inside a home on Shorty Road in Winifrede back in January.
He faces up to 8 to 20 years in prison when he's sentenced in February.
