A Kanawha County man accused of impregnating a family member and fathering three other family members might not stand trial.

Charles Shamblin appeared in front of a judge Monday morning to talk about his recent psychological examination. The defense team's doctor said that Shamblin is not competent to stand trial. Now the state is going to do its own evaluation.

West Virginia State Police said Shamblin abused a family member for more than 10 years. They also claim that Shamblin fathered three other family members.

Judge Charles King said he'll make a final decision once the state's report is completed.
