The Charleston Town Center Mall announced Tuesday the completion of its six-month, $7 million renovation project.
The company behind the mall put forth the money in an effort to revitalize the center of shopping for Charleston. The mall has a new fountain, new flooring, new signs and a new color as part of the massive renovations.
It's all in time for the 30th anniversary according to mall officials. "The floor is incredible. The new handrails that you can see through are incredible. It's amazing watching the whole process come together and that everything works well together," said Thomas Bird, General Manager of the Charleston Town Center.
The renovations also include a CAMC Play Patch area, which will be at the Macy's court. It's expected to be completed soon.
