Company Executives Available to Discuss Advances in ORC Technology, New Design Software Release, and More
(PRWEB) December 05, 2012
Concepts NREC (CN), a world leader in turbomachinery design and development, providing engineering services, advanced CAE/CAM software, manufacturing services, and turbomachinery education programs, today announced plans to showcase its newly released 2012 version of Agile Engineering Design System® (AEDS) software and advanced engineering services at POWER-GEN International. CN executives will be on hand in Booth #2846, December 11-13, 2012 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL, to talk about how CN software and engineering services help customers worldwide to design and manufacture high-quality parts for advanced turbochargers, compressors, turbines, and pumps, with reduced design cycle times and lower costs.
Newly Released Turbomachinery Design Software
Advances in turbomachinery design, afforded by the 2012 version of AEDS, are helping customers continue to innovate, especially on renewable energy, power generation, and turbocharging projects. Many customers are also particularly excited about new and improved features in TurboMatch™, as it can now be used to design turboexpanders and large turbochargers used in marine, locomotive, and on-/off- highway applications.
“Turbomachinery design is a critical component of some of the most important renewable energy and power generation projects today,” said George Zitka, CN’s Managing Director. “We are excited to share our customers’ success stories and further collaborate with the power generation industry to continue to innovate and improve quality and performance, while reducing design cycle times and cost.”
Engineering Services Advances Organic Rankine Cycle Technology
Additionally, CN executives will be available to discuss its continued development of a modular Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) technology platform. The ORC platform enables cost-effective power generation from geothermal, biomass, and solar thermal power systems, as well as from a wide range of industrial waste heat sources. CN’s Director of Engineering Services, Fred Becker, explains, “The continued development of the ORC platform is truly exciting, as it takes us and our customers further into the world of green energy power generation.”
CN 2013 Courses and Design Software Workshops
Advance copies of CN’s 2013 Course and Design Software Workshop (DSW) schedules will be provided at the show. The schedules can also be viewed and downloaded at http://www.ConceptsNREC.com. Hundreds of engineers attend CN courses and DSWs annually as they help deepen their understanding and further develop their skills and knowledge for career advancement.
