A man is on the run and considered armed and dangerous according to authorities with the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office.
A man is on the run and considered armed and dangerous according to authorities with the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office.
Kentucky State Police have arrested Jason K. Chaffins, 27, of Garrett, KY after troopers found drugs, meth-making materials, and two handguns in his home.
Chaffins was taken to Floyd County Detention Center. He is being charged with one count of manufacturing methamphetamine 1st Offense, two counts possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, one count of possession of marijuana, one count of buying or possessing drug paraphernalia, one count of resisting arrest, and one count of 4th degree controlled substance child endangerment.
This incident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Post 9 Criminal Interdiction Team.
