Pittsburgh man heading to prison in Fayette County pharmacy robbery

A Pittsburgh man was sentenced to eight years in federal prison for conspiracy to commit robbery of a Fayette County pharmacy, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin.

Kevin Ian Davis, 31, previously pleaded guilty in August.

Davis admitted to robbing the New River Family Health Center Pharmacy in 2008.

He was after prescription pills containing oxycodone and morphine.

He also used a gun during the robbery.

In November, Davis' co-conspirator, Christina Foster, 34, was sentenced to two years in federal prison for her role in the scheme .

The stolen drugs were worth more than $3,000.
