Sheriff's deputies in Athens County, Ohio are investigating threats at a local school.
They said they received a complaint involving a 17-year-old Alexander/Tri-County Vocational School student that had made threats by text, to another Alexander student.
The complaint indicated the Alexander/Tri-County student made a threat that involved a weapon. Deputy Jim Childs went to Alexander High School at the school's request. At the same time, Deputy Brad Jeffers went to Tri-County Vocational School. Both deputies met with the principals who helped in interviewing the students.
No weapons were located at Tri-County, but the Tri-County student will be charged with inducing panic according to deputies.
