A car caught fire while driving down the highway Thursday afternoon.
Firefighters said a female was driving down I-64 eastbound when her engine overheated and caught fire near the Barboursville exit.
The woman escaped without injuries.
Eastbound traffic was shutdown but has since reopened.
"The woman was driving down the road," said Capt. Bob Legg, with the Milton Fire Department, which responded to the scene.
The accident happened just before 4:00 p.m. On Thursday.
Legg added that whenever any warning light goes off in the car, pull to the side of the road, just in case.
