At about 1:00 a.m. on May 17, Hamlin police were called to Barbara Apartments in Hamlin where they found Holly Roberts and James Randolph "passed out" in a Grand Prix with an 18-month-old in the back seat.

A Lincoln County couple is in jail on felony child abuse charges.
A Lincoln County couple is in jail on felony child abuse charges.
Henderson police began a police pursuit that began on westbound US 35, then continued on to State Route 160, entering Gallapolis, OH Thursday night just after 9:30 p.m.
After the suspect turned south on the 100 block of Fourth Avenue an Henderson Police officer deployed stop sticks to stop the vehicle. The suspect kept going, even with a deflated front left tire.
After turning eastbound onto State Route 7 (Vine Street), the suspect's vehicle rammed a police cruiser at the intersection of Third Street and Vine Street. It continued to First Avenue and turned northbound. Near the City Park, the driver of the fleeing vehicle stopped, exited the vehicle and surrendered to police.
Jonathon E. Beaver, 31, of Huntington, WV, was arrested for felony fleeing and eluding, and felonious assault of a police officer. Beaver also had a warrant out of Mason County, WV for operating a clandestine drug lab.
