    Wayne Worth entered the world of documentaries by committing to produce 55 of them. A social worker by day, Worth is now two years and 39 counties into his goal of creating an educational video about the culture and history of each county in West Virginia.

    The Trusted Choice® Big “I” National Championship will make its first trip to West Virginia when Pete Dye Golf Club hosts the 46th annual junior golf event Aug. 5-8.
    The Trusted Choice® Big “I” National Championship will make its first trip to West Virginia when Pete Dye Golf Club hosts the 46th annual junior golf event Aug. 5-8.

The West Virginia Symphony Orchestra will open its Pops Series with "Home for the Holidays" at 8 p.m. Dec. 7-8 at the Clay Center for the Arts & Sciences in Charleston. 

Joining Maestro Grant Cooper and the Orchestra will be chorus members from the Appalachian Children's Chorus, Symphony Chorus of Parkersburg, West Virginia Symphony Chorus, the West Virginia State University Chorus and guest soloist Lindsey Goodman.

Cooper will conduct a selection of best-loved holiday music. As part of the performance, audience members will be called upon to sing along to their favorite carols and seasonal songs. 

Tickets start at $12 for adults and $6 for students and children and are available through the Clay Center box office at 304-561-3570. Tickets may also be ordered online at www.wvsymphony.org.
