A string of suspicious fires from May of 2011 to June of 2012 had neighbors in Summersville concerned for their property and for their safety.
James E. Gardner, man considered a person of interest in connection with the death of his father James W. Gardner, has been captured in Gallia County, OH.
James W. Gardner was found murdered in his home in Meigs County on Nov. 11.
Shortly after 11 a.m., Gardner was found and arrested in an old camping trailer in a wooded area and taken to the Gallia County Sheriff's Office
Investigators in Meigs County say the suspect's father died from blunt force trauma to the head.
They also issued a warrant for the suspect stealing his father's truck and a ATV that was in the bed of the truck. The truck was found early this month.
They also arrested Lyndon M. Montgomery, 51, of Crown City, earlier this month for providing transportation and shelter to James E. Gardner.
