Blenko Glass Co. has worked out a reorganization plan with its creditors, and it hopes Bankruptcy Court Judge Ronald G. Pearson will approve that plan at a hearing Dec. 12.

Steve Thomas, an attorney for Blenko, said Dec. 7 that the company's creditors have reviewed the reorganization plan. All the creditors who voted have voted for the plan, and none objected. Unless Pearson has questions, the plan should be approved at the Dec. 12 hearing, he said.

Blenko has continued to operate since it filed for Chapter 11 protection in May 2011.

"They will emerge from bankruptcy and they will repay the creditors according to the plan that was filed," Thomas said.
