A woman on Huntington's south side had a close encounter with a man who walked right up to the door of the home she was watching and insisted that he had to come inside to fix something, according to police.
A woman on Huntington's south side had a close encounter with a man who walked right up to the door of the home she was watching and insisted that he had to come inside to fix something, according to police.
Scioto County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a bank robbery that happened just after 11:15 a.m. Friday at the WesBanco on Galena Pike in West Portsmouth, OH.
According to deputies, the male suspect entered the bank, brandished a weapon, and demanded an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect also demanded the bank teller hand over her car keys and then made her walk with him to her vehicle in the parking lot.
According to the teller, the suspect got into the car and drove away. He was last seen driving southbound.
The vehicle was described as a 2000 gold two-door Chevrolet Caviler.
Detectives found the vehicle on the side of the road in West Portsmouth shortly after the robbery.
