    A tractor trailer is blocking part of Route 2. The road is closed until further notice. Drivers heading in both direction are being asked to use the Big Ben Bowen Highway connector by Target to get around.

ATHENS, Ohio -

The Ohio University men's basketball team hung onto a win on Saturday afternoon at the Convocation Center against Oakland, by a final score of 78-61.

The Ohio Bobcats had five ties and eight lead changes throughout the game. The Bobcats shot 50.8%, while Oakland shot for only 40.4%.

Ohio's Walter Offutt had 14 total points in Saturday's matchup.

Ohio University will not play until Saturday, Dec. 15, due to academic finals week. The Bobcats will face Winthrop at home at 2 p.m.
