A string of suspicious fires from May of 2011 to June of 2012 had neighbors in Summersville concerned for their property and for their safety.
A vehicle hit a Charleston police cruiser parked near a tractor trailer accident Monday evening.
An officer was directing traffic after the tractor trailer wreck when a vehicle hit the cruiser.
The trailer jack-knifed on I-64 West in Charleston Monday evening. The accident happened near the Oakwood Road exit.
The accident happened around 9:15 p.m.
Traffic was down to one lane for about an hour but reopened just after 11 p.m.
Dispatchers said nobody was injured in the accident.
