Two people are in jail after getting arrested on robbery charges.
Late Monday night, Tonia Kay Blount, 26, of Campbell's Creek and Terry Lee Shamblin Jr., 35, of Eskdale, were arraigned in Kanawha County's Magistrate court on charges of robbery.
Kanawha County deputies say they talked to a man claiming the two suspects went to his house in Campbell's Creek on Sunday Dec. 9 and asked him for money.
The victim told them he didn't have time.
They came back the next day, and the victim said this time they grabbed him, beat him in his own home, and took his wallet which had about a hundred and twenty dollars in it.
Blount and Shamblin were later found and arrested. Blount was found in Campbell's Creek as she was attempting to flee to Ohio. Shamblin was found walking down Campbell's Creek Road and was apprehended without incident.
The two are being held in South Central Regional Jail on $50,000 bonds.
